NSTY IS Posted June 8, 2006 Share Posted June 8, 2006 Does anyone out there know how to remove the plastic cover off the front map light in the 2002 IS 300? The light blub is loose up there, but I can't seem to figure out how to remove the cover, and I don't want to break it. Any help would be great. bartkat Posted June 9, 2006 Share Posted June 9, 2006 Take a table knife or something thin and wide like that. Put it barely the least bit under the gray bezel toward the rear and pry down gently. You'll be pulling down the housing and not just the lens. Once you get it down you'll see how it goes back on. Insert prongs at the front and swing the housing up till the clips at the rear click in.
