I want to do the spoiler upgrade and I have a 94. My existing trunk lid has a small discrete crease in the sheet medal. Which I suppose the body shop could look at. The spoiler that sits on my trunk lid now is flush 92-96 and there are several bolts going through the trunk lid to hold this in place. Wouldn't it be easier and maybe even cheaper if I just found a 97,98,99,00 sc400 trunk lid? Rather than have the body shop fill in the holes b/c the other spoiler doesn't fit completely flush against the trunk lid?

well it all depends on how cheap you can find the new trunk for. if a body shop quotes you so much to fix it you need to find one thats cheaper including cost of paint.
