Gennady Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Hello Everyone! Please help with ADVICE! I need to change spark plugs on my 1992 ES 300. The problem is: I can't figure out WHAT WRENCH I need to use in order to open plastic cover ( with Lexus logo on it) above ??? Any suggestions to the process are very welcome as well! It is still GREAT car after 14 years and 203000 K. Gennady
Toysrme Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 I forget. It's just an allen wrench. Most likely 5-7mm. Just go buy a cheap metric set. You need a 7-8mm to get the upper intake manifold off & a 10mm to take the transmission fluid drain off anyways.
azmalu Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 if those are stripped and you wanna be filthy you can bend cover without braking it off but itll crack...(thats what I did last night...I gotta feeling im not gonna find one in a junk yard but ill try it anyway...)
