When I was removing the power steering pump I noticed the two hoses that connect to the valve were already removed accidentally. I am not sure as which hose goes to which "port" on the valve. Anyone know one hose goes from the valve back into the intake manifold/throttle body and the other hose goes back towards the fire wall I think.

What about this... If the hoses on the air control valve were installed backwards would the car have more of a tendency to stall out while making turns at lower rpm's.

I just want to make sure I have those hoses hooked up properly.

i think it can go either way.

the air control valve varies steering effort dependant on engine speed.

Thanks I think your right also. I put on the vacuum hoses on and it works fine. I don't think it matters either. Just wasn't too sure as I did not see them connected before removing the pump.
