Argie
I own a 2006 GS300, the first GS with a 6-speed transmission. I'm getting great mileage if I'm to believe the computer. This morning I tanked up at a gas station by the Bush Turnpike in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I entered the highway almost immediately and drove about 25 miles to work. By this time, the computer was showing an average of 35.8 mpg, and I hit 36 at some point. How accurate is the car's computer? I can see the computer knowing that it got a full tank, and starts the calculation... but how does it precisely know how much gas is being used on the fly?
