Sc 400 Hood Struts For Cf Hoods

Anyone know of a good Hood strut to use on the Carbon Fiber Hoods for the SC300/SC400 's..?

Since the hoods are only 24 lbs should think the stock ones would not be a good choice, since they are for 80 lbs..?

Maybe a Mighty Might or NAPA type..anyone lucky enough to have a stock number..?

I would ask someone for there old ones since they will have enough power to lift a CF but not a metal hood

Thanks for the advice SK...I found out on this hood there is no provision for struts..so I'm just going to use a shortened broom handle..it will remind me of my MG days...LOL
