trock001 Posted April 13, 2006 Share Posted April 13, 2006 I have a 97 LS 400 with about 80,000 miles. The check engine light came on and I had a parts store check codes. The error code which was P0505 (idle control malfunction). I have tried searching the forum for this code but got no results. Can someone please give me an idea what I can do short of taking it to the dealer. I am willing to work on the problem but am a rank beginner.
