Light Failure Indicator

My new (used) 2000 RX300 came with a rear light failure indicator glowing on the instrument panel. ALL the light s including the license plate light are working normally. How can I get rid of this irritating reminder?

are you sure all the lights are on? have someone push the brake light, and go outside to check if all three are on. the top one is the most common

The failure indicator will come on, even though they are all working, if one of your bulbs is about to fail. The culprit is usually the third brake light. Do a search on this forum for "brake light" for more info.
