Lavern
My 96 ES 300 Is being used by my daughter in Florida and the trunk will not open. The key has never opened it but the inside button always worked until now. I will be in Florida to help her pack for a move to AZ but my time will be limited so an info as to getting it open will help. My body shop man says that it would probably be easiest to pull the back seat and cut the steel brace for access to the latch. Thanks in advance for any help that may be forthcoming. L. Toysrme
1) Use the real key (Not a valet key) 2) Make sure the button to enable the trunk is turned on in the glove box, and it's wiring is OK 3) Make sure the wiring inside the trunk support has not split in half 4) Fix the latch
abrarcool
sometimes by mistake you generally press the truck lock button in the glove compartment and that will lock the truck from opening in valet mode i guess the key you have is also the valet key so it wont open the trunk check that
