Sweet95LS400
I was looking on lexls and it shows how to remove the 1st generation, does anyone have instructions on how to remove the 95-97? The lens on mine is scratched pretty bad and I have a replacement one, but I just need to know how to remove the whole unit to replace it. Sweet95LS400
Great thanks for the links. Unforunately the one that had pics, doesnt have the pics any more. I read the tutorial but without seeing the pics I am lost. I saw another post about the two tabs on the top, but how do you get to the screws on the bottom? blake918
The screws on the bottom are exposed when you pry the trim piece off that has the trip/odo buttons and rheostat dial. ;) Wear ear plugs because that piece of trim will make some serious noise; you would swear that Lexus outsourced that trim piece to Pontiac with all of the creaking and crackling it does. Sweet95LS400
Does it just pry off, or is there a certain way of pulling it off correctly?
blake918
Lower your steering wheel all the way. Now, slip your fingers under the trim and gently pull it towards the back of the car. ;)
