daovang Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 Hey, can you guy advise me where, if any, AUX("amp") cables are on the stock stereo deck? I was looking to buy an amp and subs to run off the stock deck, but I am not sure there is a AUX plug on it. I can't really afford a new custom deck so any help is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance,
Toysrme Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 There are no auxillaries... It's stock LoL! Only rescently did any OEM's start including auxillary input/outputs of any kind. You'll need to get an amp that will work using high level inputs (i.e. speaker inputs). Most descent amps of any kind will accept high level inputs, tho actual low level specific inputs give better quality. That or rip all of the stock (blah) out & replace the headunit+stock amp.

By "high level inputs" you mean splicing the speaker wires of the already existing speakers(rear) and directly connecting them to the amp? And if you could...Please tell me how to gain access to the front door speakers. I keep hearing rattles and it's really annoying. Also...My car is a '95 model.
