Trunk Lock

I am having problems with my trunk. It can only be opened with the trunk latch. My02 IS is used and only came with the valet ket. I got my valet key cloned so I wouldnt have to reflash my ECU The cloned valet key can lock or unlock the glove box but can't open the trunk. Is it the key? Do I have to use an OEM lexus master key to open the trunk? I thought the glove and the trunk lock is the same? I know the chip in the key has nothing to do with unlocking the trunk or the glove box. Is it the cut of the key? can someone tell me?

The valet key is made so the valet can only open the door and start the car. It won't open the glove box or the trunk. That's to keep the valet out of your stuff.
