Lights Auto Off? Sc 430

Hi, just purchased 04 SC 430

sorry but couldn't find it in the search and manual is not definately clear.

Does the headlight/parking light auto shut off after you pull the key? how bout the running light? This is if it is NOT in Auto mode.

I turned the headlights on in the daytime,

when I parked the car, the lights were left on.

I also left the running lights on overnight.

Is there a chime if you pull out the key and leave the lights on like other cars? mine does not do that.

As far as i knwo the system works like this.

Lights on in auto,key on = lights are on a 30 second timer after the door is opened after turning the car off.

Parking lights do not auto turn off only headlights which in turn ,turn them off as well.
