Arkansawyer Posted February 22, 2006 Share Posted February 22, 2006 Again if you look at the pictures I took last night and looking at it in person, I don't think there is a way to "press" a bushing out. Arkansawyer Posted March 1, 2006 Share Posted March 1, 2006 After waiting on parts to arrive I have now gotten to the driver's side of the front suspension. The strut bar bushing on the driver's side is definitely cracked and in bad shape. I wonder if this is the reason that the alignment shop told me they could not pull in the proper caster on the driver's side? Have ordered these bushings for both sides at $103.00 a piece. Replacement can be done with the strut bars installed. Only requires removal of 3 nuts in the wheel well area and a large nut on the front side of the strut bar behind the plastic belly pan.
