jrowe Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 I removed the pass. seat from my '96 ES300 today. After unplugging the wiring harness for the power seat and pulling the seat out of the car I noticed that there is another unused wiring harness under the seat. Does anyone know what this is for? I am wondering if perhaps it is for the seat heaters. I know sometimes manufacturers will install features and then not hook them up unless you pay their extra charge. So I was thinking that perhaps the seat heaters have been in the seats all along but they're just not connected? Am I right? Wrong? Let me know if y'all know what the extra harness is for. Thanks.
jrowe Posted February 8, 2006 Author Posted February 8, 2006 Toysrme, does that mean there is a heater in the seat, but it's just not hooked up?
Toysrme Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 Nope, that means yours didn't come with them.
jrowe Posted February 8, 2006 Author Posted February 8, 2006 ok, I get it. That's where ithe seat heater would have plugged in. Then the whole seat, heater and movement, draws power through the same plug. Thanks.
