utexasrick Posted January 12, 2006 Share Posted January 12, 2006 So after taking the truck to the dealer a few months ago I got it back but I think they turn the alarm off. the alarm still goes off it I lock it and try to open it from the inside but the alarm doesn't go off it the truck gets hit. I know it used when you would hit it softly, but now I can hit it pretty hard and it wont go off. so what could be the problem? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SKperformance Posted January 12, 2006 Share Posted January 12, 2006 No stock Lexus alarm has a shock sensor. So unless it had an aftermarket alarm it should not be going off at all. Either you had a bad door lock mechanism that thought a door was opened because of a wrong gap and set it off or it never went off before.
