endless_knot
Hi all, My car(ES 250) is not riding as it used to. When I hit the accelator too fast it knocks. Seems the transmission is the problem. It is also consuming more gas than before. Avg 20 miles a gallon. Here are the details: Model: 1991 ES 250 Miles put in 9 months: 25,000 Total Miles on the car: 135,000 I have put in 25,000 miles since I bought it 9 months ago. Never had a tune up. Oil changed regularly. Transmission fluid replaced twice. Will an Engine tune up help? What else do I need to do on the car to make the best of it. Please advice. endless_knot
Thank you for your suggestions skperformance I notified the mechanic about your recommendations. Am having a full tune up plus an oil change. Lately, two other problems have come up: 1) The lowest AC/Cooler/Heat button(No. 1) wont work. The rest No. 2, 3, and 4 work fine. 2) I just filled in washer fluid but it does not work. I can hear the motor noise. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
