TAGGAR
Hello all, I need some advice. I have a 1999 GS 300 and have a sqweek in the engine. I went to the local Lexus dealer and they said it was the engine belts and it was common when it get cold. he sprayed a lubricant and it went away for a while only to return. I was wondering it anyone else has had this problem. I am tempted to go buy a similar spray and just spray every few days. My car only has 41000 miles. Wondering if anyone has had experiance with this sort of issue. Thanks TAGGAR
GuyTelefunken
Replace the belt. It's as simple as that.
TurboGS300
Replace the belt. It's as simple as that. Correct! That's what the Lexus tech should have said and done! The spray is not a lubricant and it's BS. Make sure all that crap is cleaned off when you replace the belt. <_<

TurboGS300
how much does that cost. Mine squeeks as well. It should be about $30 to $40 for the belt and if you can't change it yourself you shouldn't even call yourself a man. <_<
