timothy Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 I have a 2004 es 330 which gets a beeping sound when traction control is working. Not all the time. Everthing seems to work fine, just wondering if anyone heard of this. thanks Timothy
steviej Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 If you read the manual I think you will find that the beeping sound is generated with the vehicle skid control system kicks in. This system does use some elements of the TRAC system to apply individual brakes and reduce the power of the engine to regain traction in whichever wheel is skidding or slipping. I think you will find the beeping is audible when the VSC light is illuminated. The VCS indicator is the picture of the car with the two parallel squiggily lines going through it. steviej
timothy Posted December 24, 2005 Author Posted December 24, 2005 Thanks for the info. Car goes good in the snow, even with 24000 miles on Dunlop sport 5000s. I should take some time to read the manual over the holiday. Thanks again, and have a good Christmas and new year. Timothy
