Steve J.
2000 GS400, 101,000 miles with maintenance up to date. This problem goes away with gas fill up. What does this symptom indicate? I appreciate any advice.
RomyCHA
How close to empty are you when you floor it? Some cars have a ECU function that conserves gas the closer you get to empty, and in turn can affect driving conditions. I don't know if Lexus's do this, but being that it is a Lexus, it might. Steve J.
This problem is a new one - last two times I let it get low on fuel. It occurs about 10 miles after the empty light lights. It has never occured in years past. It has recent water pump, timing belt relacement. Dealer says bring it in when it is happening but I don't want to chance not arriving or further damage. Any suggestions are appreciated.
