dkaplan435 Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 It finally snowed last night so I was able to drive the IS350 (w/Blizzak LM25v). It drove very well, but still slid a bit when taking turns fast. I guess I have to learn to NOT do that. I used the "SNOW" button (next to the traction on/off switch), so I'm sure that helped as well. My main concern will be the drivers w/o the snow tires. I recommend the blizzaks, there is no way I'd drive my car in snow otherwise. Dave
Lexusfreak Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Lexusfreak How about the Pirelli Winter 240 Snowsport? My local tire dealer (a good friend and a fellow M3 owner) is recommending these in the 18" size and just swaping them on my wheels fall and spring. Craig Those Pirelli look like a fairly new tire on the market.....no experence with them either I am afraid so I will say that the choices I mentioned before still stand. It's not 'vital' that you get a winter tire with a V speed rating either to be honest......if your driving on icy & snowy roads, will one really be even close to top speed? or 'peeling' around hairpin corners? ;)
