Hydraulic Booster

Hi all

I wonder if you can help me?

The abs booster pump on my 98 gs300 has failed (common fault i understand in the UK and USA)

My car is a right hand drive and my thoughts are would a USA part fit my car as it going to cost me nearly $4000 to get replaced and fitted in the uk

I have looked at some usa under hood pictures an the unit looks similar however i am not sure if it is the same.

I don't want to buy a part that doesnt fit.

I have all the details of the part which I can pm someone if they could help?

So my questions are

will usa part fit?

whats the part no?

Where can you reccomend that I could get the unit from?

The USA part should be the same. I can see no reason for their to be any difference. <_<

turbo i don;t think ruby is worried about it being different as the left and right hand drive ones would be the same internals but the actual mounting can and usually is different.

Personally i think the best bet is to email wrecking yards and ask them for a front and back picture of the booster for an exact look at bolt positions.Just don;t tell them you are in another country or not going to buy it .
