TexasComputerMan Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 I recently had an accident that required replacing the front bumper and repainting it. I just hate having to drill two holes in the new bumper to mount the front license plate. THe Body shop that did the work came up with a better solution. They had me go to a local autoparts store and buy an aftermarket (metal) license plate bracket. Then they made a couple of "L" brackets that allowed them to mount the plate using the existing holes inside on the bumper itsself. I know that this is not a good description. I will post a couple of pics to let you see how they did it.
SKperformance Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 A very common modification in the tuner world where body kits are added. Usually they have the bracket come out from under the bumper so it is much lower.
