deadmilenko
Stupid Question but the drivers side brake light is out in my GS. Went to change it and I was surprised to see that it was going to be a little more difficult than I expected. Do you have to remove the sheet metal under the carpet in the truck to get to the rear light housing unit to change the bulbs, or do you have to remove the whole housing itself? GuyTelefunken
Open trunk, remove the two screw caps and 10mm bolts under them (along the trunk edge) from the light housing. In the trunk behind the housing there are two plugs in the carpet. Turn them counterclockwise. Get a deep 10mm socket and remove the two nuts. The bolts have entended tips so the nut doesn't just fall off. But still, be careful. Remove the housing. Change the bulb. Send $25.00 to my PayPal account.
