Am/fm/cdtape Player Lcd Shadows

I have a 1998 Lexus ES 300. My LCD display has so much shadowing that I can hardly read what station I am on. Is there any way to fix this?

Mine - a '97 es300 - has the same problem, horrible. Last night I was trying to use an fm transmitter for my mp3 player and couldn't find 88.3 for the life of me. It is much better in the daylight, but at night with the stereo lit up, it is impossible to distinguish the readout.

It sounds like you both need new displays, Let me look to see if I have any left. I will post my findings.

Did you guys try doing search? it's a common problem :) I found some info here:

I did it too, now I got a working screen :)
