Remote Key

Any ideas where one remote key works and one does not. the non-orking key has a new battery.

Also not sure how to add a pic to my signature! Where is the FAQ guide for postings, problably right in front of my face!

Look up at "my controls" it has a link to update your signiture.

Does the light on the key light up when pressed?

You may need to just reprogram the key to the car.

Actually this is kind of embarrasing. The former owner said that on of the keys did not work and it did not when I tried it . But now that I check for the light, I find that it actually does light up and the key will work, it is just very touchy, you have to click it a few times or touch it in jsut the right place for it to activate the locks. It will lock and unlock but it takes the majic touch. Jsut worn out do you think?

could be a bad battery connection internally. i would double check the insides.

Thanks, I will give it a try tomorrow with a different set of micro screwdrivers, can't get the screw out with what I have here.
