is there any trick to replace the bulb? how do you remove the bezel to expose the bulb... it is pretty flush and I do not want to break it

You have to take something like a butter knife, or table knife and pry very gently at the rear (side toward the back of the car). Just put the knife in place slightly between the bezel and the headliner, maybe just a couple of milimeters. It should pop off very easily. If you feel a lot of resistance, the knife is in too far.

The entire gray bezel and the lenses all come away as a unit. There are clips front and rear. The part where the bulb base attaches is very flimsy, so you may need to squeeze it a little before putting in a new bulb.

It's hard to explain this clearly, but I hope you get the idea. The main thing is that you are just barely sliding the edge of the knife in under the bezel rear edge. Once you get it open you'll see how it's made and understand why.
