bowtie3
My wife's 2000 RX300 FWD [ 55,000 miles ] jerks when it's put into gear, either drive or reverse. I've replaced the upper mount [ dogbone ] because it appeared to be loose and worn-out. The front and rear engine mounts seem to be in good condition. There is what appears to be a damper / shock absorber on the front of the engine under the exhaust manifold. Could this part be worn-out and is causing the engine to move for and aft? Do RX300's have a history of this problem? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
