ZINFANDEL22 Posted October 8, 2005 Share Posted October 8, 2005 I have a new mast to instal,and can't get out old one. iI soaked it overnight as directions said i also took out motor and cleaned out old broken mast. I see original has a clip so it cant pull out i am assuming i am fighting that clip but not sure. directions say to soak over night and it should pull right out but "wrong" it comes out almost all the way but stops.It would be to the point where you would feed new mast back into housing.
