Front End Suspension Groaning/grunting?

Recommended Posts

I have a preowned 2002 GS300 SportDesign. Since I took it in for its first major servicing, I have noticed that whenever the weather gets above ~95 degrees and I drive the vehicle over, say, 10 mi., the front end suspension(?) starts groaning or grunting whenever I drive over even a slightly undulating or uneven road surface or pass over even a gentle speed bumps!

Needless to say, I do not believe a $50,000 car should be making these kinds of noises, and it is quite embarassing when guests are in the car, let alone annoying to me. Has anyone experienced this phenomenon with their Lexus and, if so, what is the cause? I would greatly appreciate any input or assistance anyone could lend on this problem. -Ben
