tealboy Posted September 23, 2005 Share Posted September 23, 2005 since there has been so much debate surrounding this topic, i thought i would provide the conclusion to my wiring. basically, my 2002 model, with the tow pkg (but no hitch or lights ever attached), was a breeze to get working. All i did was, put a fuse under the hood, order a lighting harness from etrailer.com for $14 and plug it in. The lights worked perfectly. It was not necessary for me to purchase a modulator or other lexus box to control the lights. I also bought a hitch on ebay for $81 brand new, reg retail $175. the whole thing was simple. Perhaps older models do not come equipped as mine did, but if you have a 2002 or 2003 (maybe others) with a tow pkg, that's all you need to do.
