chrispiss Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 Hey my CD changer skips a lot, I'm guessing the lens needs to be cleaned up. Is it possible to get to the lens by taking it apart, or is it encased pretty good and difficult to get to? I've taken the cd changer apart before to get my cartridge unstuck but I didn't go far enough to see if I could get to the lens. Thanks!
steviej Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 First try a CD cleaner disc, MAXELL makes a good one. The last thing you want to do is misalign the read head or LED whilst cleaning it with a cotton swab or tissue. steviej
