1990 To 1991 Frint Rotor Retrofit

I have seen on some part sites, that 1991 LS400 front rotors have been retrofitted to 1990 Ls400.

The 1990 rotors are 23mm min. thick and the 1991 rotors are 26mm min. thick.

Does anyone know if this retrofit can be performed with no modification to the 1990 LS400?

Update:

I found that the 26mm min thick rotors were retroffited to 1990 ls400 with a date code of 7/90 and later.

My date code is 4/90. I must have the 23mm min. thick rotors.

I have contacted Lexus USA since I have the same problem. Have you successfully retrofitted using the 26mm min rotors? Harvey

I have not contacted Lexus, however I have found a service bulletin for this issue. See attachment.
