Nina Posted July 10, 2003 Posted July 10, 2003 How do I turn off the security system. I don't think I am turning it off correctly--when I attempt to open all four doors--because the internal light is flashing and there is a noise coming from the dashboard while I am driving. HELP!
jzz30 Posted July 11, 2003 Posted July 11, 2003 the security system stays on for about 30 seconds after you unlock the doors in case you dont open them the doors lock again well at least thats what i remember hearing from the dealer sales man. the noise from the dash, does it sound like a few clicks that come and go every 2or3 seconds? mine does that i think its the odometer gear or something like that thats just worn or something
Nina Posted July 11, 2003 Author Posted July 11, 2003 Yes, that is exactly what it is doing---addtionally the security light is on and blinking when the beeps are happening, Does your's do that also?
