tadao916
hey guys...i was planning on lowering my 92 sc400 about 1 inch and a 1/4, i was wondering if you guys think i also need performance shocks at that ride height? Thanks for the feedback!
AWJ
If you are replacing the springs to lower the car, you may as well replace the shocks too. Otherwise, you will pay double for the same labor when your shocks go bad. KYB AGX are a good brand to use with lowering springs.

jzz30
why not just get some coilovers that are hight adjustable so yon go higher if you start to hit things or want to go even lower
tadao916
well its a lot more expensive for the JIC coilovers that i want...buying springs and shocks individually is a lot cheaper
jzz30
i know its more expensive but what about the convinience factor if you dont like the ride hight you have to change springs and how much is that going to cost not to mention the extra time it takes to change springs compared to just spinning adjusters
