inautix
I have 2001 RX300 with 63K miles. I hven't done much from maint point of view except regular oil change/tires/winterization. I was planning to get tuneup but someone told me I don't need to with lexus until 75K. I am not sure when to get tuneup done. Also, not sure if there any good places (besides dealers) that you folks recommend in NJ area. If you have any suggestions that will be very helpful. Thanks in advance. TunedRX300
No need to change spark plug until 120k. You should change your transmission fluid, buy 4 qts of Toyota Type IV do a drain and fill. It is easier than changing your own engine oil
BluAquarius
I have my local toyota dealer do most of the work on my 99 RX-300. I had a Lexus dealer do a transmission flush and front brakes, couple other things and the bill was $1200. Way too much in my neck of the woods. (Nebraska) You can always call places and ask for price quotes too.
