1st Gen Nav Screen Unit Swapable With 2nd Gen Nav?

OK, I'm not talking about upgrading the whole NAVIGATION system...

Has anyone converted their 1st gen GS NAV screen with buttons on both sides to 2nd gen NAV screen unit with buttons only on left side?

I'm just wondering if it will be a straight swap or any modification is necessary...

Sorry, that was a no. The control panel is part of the navigation system is was designed for. They are not interchangable except for exact models of different years.

I can switch out the first gen nav and retrofit a 2nd gen nav into your car . This is a full system swap with custom wiring harness and if you want I have the 6 disc dvd player so you can watch your favorite dvd's. To answer your question no you can not switch the screens.
