Starter "kit"

Hi all,

I do not have much in the way of car care products. I am wondering what products you would recommend to someone who is a newbie to detailing. I am just looking for the basics. I have searched the boards here for the last few hours but there are so many products for detailing enthusiasts... I am just looking for a "starter kit" type of thing.

I would also strongly suggest purchasing a random orbital buffer and some foam pads
