atoyoT
On a 99 RX, I am replacing the a/c compressor and was looking for the reciever/drier, can't seem to find it. I'm thinking it is built in to the discharge hose, am I right? A side note, these things are a pain to work on, been an LS man for years. I guess it's just typical FWD tight engine compartments. Thanks
atoyoT
The receiver drier is built-in to the condenser and is serviceable with a dessicant kit, basically a tube sock full of dessicant. I stand by my statement that these RX's are a pain in the !Removed! to work on. Had the compressor rebuilt and a the new dessicant kit, parts ran me just shy of $400. Needless to say the dealer wanted a LOT more.
