My 06 GS430 does not have navi, and I use Bluetooth to connect to my cell every day and call out and takes calls in.

So, the answer is, yes, you can use Bluetooth for cell phone connectivity without Navi. in the 06 GS 300/430's.

From Lexis Custom service:

Dear Mr. Miller:

Thank you for contacting the Lexus Customer Satisfaction Department. Lexus appreciates the time you have taken to communicate with us.

Prior to the 2006 GS, a navigation system was required if a customer wanted Bluetooth capabilities in his/her vehicle. You are correct in that a navigation system is not necessary to have Bluetooth capabilities in a Lexus vehicle. I will do my best to update this FAQ. Thank you for your feedback.

Sincerely,

Saul Flores

Customer Satisfaction Representative
