melhadri
I have been tryin to search for topics on Chrome outlining but haven't been successful. Around the windows of my ES300 is a chrome-looking outline. I want to add more chrome around the windows, on the sides of my car and around the bumpers. I have attached a pic (red arrows) for further clarification. Any idea as to where I can purchase such chrome-looking material? Would I be able to do it myself? Thanks in advace. SW03ES
You mean you want to add the chrome strips. There are companies that make the strips for the ES, but IMHO they look terrible. They dont look like they were done from the factory at all.
Unlisted
they make a nice kit that goes over the door pillars and the strip running down the back window. They do it at the dealer. will try and get info
melhadri
Are the after market chrome stripes ugly b/c they bulge out? I thought the chrome touch would give my car a little sparkle. Who sells these strips?
Toysrme
One of the unique featers of ES's is frameless windows. Why mess that up?
melhadri
I like the frameless windows. I am more interested in adding chrome strips to the sides and possibly the bumpers such as the GS presented above.
