jules92 Posted May 29, 2005 Posted May 29, 2005 hey guys, i havent been on here for a while, hopeing u could help me out. i bought some Toms race pabs for the front of my 92 es300 and when i went to put the caliper back on, the piston would not retrack so it wouldnt fit back on. i bought new calipers but i dont get them till tomorrow so i thought i wold bleed the brakes today to save time. the problem is, is the i cannot get pressure from the bleeder when im bleeding, resulting in no liquid coming out. any hints as to what i can do? thatnks guys, i appreciate it.
amf1932 Posted May 29, 2005 Posted May 29, 2005 If you intend on changing the calipers, then you bleed the brakes...not before. ;) Reason: Once you remove the old calipers you remove the brake line, and once it's open, air get's into the hydraulic system. So after everything is replaced you then do the bleeding.
