genebelor
I just realized that there is no key for the locking lug nuts on the car that I recently bought. Any ideas on how to remove the locking ones and replace them with regular? Thanks!
melhadri
Take it to the dealer and have them either give you the key or take the lugs off and replace them w/ some regulars. I also had the same issue. You might be able to buy the key online or at the dealer.
tuddy
where is the key located?
genebelor
I purchased the car from a toyota dealership... The key is missing from the car (I should have checked before buying) and the dealer does not have it either ( I've already asked)
bossman
Sounds like you'll need to go to an authorized Lexus dealer to have the locking lug nuts removed - they have complete sets of all the keys. I also bought my Lexus from a Toyota dealer, and when I put on new locking lug nuts I went with the Toyota nuts instead of Lexus (cheaper and more Toyota dealers around in case the key does get lost).
