LS400Convert Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 I have the Nakamichi sound system in my car and it sounds horrible. I assumed it was the speakers and took it to Best Buy to have the speakers replaced. They told me they couldn't do the work on this system because it was dealer only. I can barely hear the sound when I have to cranked all the way up. It would seem odd that all of the speaker would go bad at once. Could I have a stereo problem, if so is this common and has anyone replaced or repaired on before? Thanks for your help.
VMF Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 you should really check your amplifier, because it looks like thats whats giving you problems, it is located under your passanger seat. in order to access it you need to remove your front passenger seat and take a look at what is going on with ur amp. i had this problem when the water got into the amp while they were washing my car. after replacing the amp everything was just fine.
SW03ES Posted July 2, 2003 Posted July 2, 2003 Yes, and never take your Lexus to Best Buy again, EVER ;)
