C-way
I have a 1992 LS 400. This morning as I was applying my brakes I noticed that my dash lights would dim. When I released the brakes they returned to their original brightness level. There seems to be nothing else wrong with my car. There are no warning indicators, no leaks in the engine compartment. My power steering fluid level is okay. It is as if there is a switch that has gone bad. Has anyone had this problem or any suggestions as to what may be causing this to happen? obergc
Check for possible broken wire in the left hinge area of the trunk lid. A bundle of wires go through the left hinge and it seems to cause a host of weird indications when the brakes are applied. Won't hurt to check it out.
