Wanta430
Brought home a used RX330 yesterday. Love it! However, the previous owner must have had a thing for cologne. The seatbelt has a STRONG odor of cologne (not my taste). Any ideas on how to get this smell out? Thanks
TOGWT
Seat Belts: ·Clean seat belts with a Woolite® distilled hot (120oF<) water solution. ·For spot stains use a fabric cleaner (303 Cleaner & Spot RemoverTM) ·Pull the belts from the retractor and gently close the door on the belt, clean and allow to air dry before opening the door and retracting the belt. ·Do not use bleach or strong detergents, or dye on the seat belts as this may severely weaken them and render them ineffective in a crash. Once fabric is dry apply a fabric protection (303TM High Tech Fabric Guard) JonM

Wanta430
Thanks for the advice! I tried wiping it with the woolite solution, but maybe it just needs a good soaking. I will give it a try and let you know my findings. Thanks again.
Wanta430
The Woolite seems to have worked. Clamped the seatbelt fully extended. Soaked it in a mixture of warm water and Woolite. (about 45 minutes) Wiped it down real well with a cotton cloth, to soak up the moisture. Left it clamped overnite, to dry. Had to repeat the process the next day. (Told you this stuff was strong!) Thanks for the great advice!
