My Trunk Won't Open

I have a 98 ES300 and my trunk button won't work... Gas works though..

I can open the trunk with my alarm but just can't open it from the inside..

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this before i take it to the dealer and them charging me 500 bucks for it..?

in my 94 theres a small button in the glove compartment that enables\disables the trunk button switch...sometimes it gets pushed by accident. Dunno if its like that in 98's but hopefully thats all it is!

the button is there on the 98, its there on the 2002 and it is there on the 2005.
