bonk1210
I took the 06' GS 300 out for a test drive last week. Other than the interior being a little too cramped for me (something I think I will be able to live with), I found one potential "deal breaker" problem with the car. I braked extremely hard, and then immediately got back onto the throttle (simulating an emergency situation). As I got back onto the throttle, the engine reved and then approximately 1/2 to one second later, the transmission caught. This caused the back tires to chirp (they would have continued to peel out if I did not let off of the throttle). Of course the salesman said this has never happened, and that he would ask the mechanic. The mechanic said that this also happened in another vehicle he test drove, and had no explanation. Does anyone have any feedback on this? If not, when you go to test drive the car (or if your willing, your own vehicle), could you attempt this, and leave your feedback on the forum. Thanks for your help.
