Do I need to get 40000 miles service only from Lexus Dealer or can it be done at Toyota service center ?

What need to be done for 40000 miles service for RX300. Dealer ask for $399. doesn't give complete description of service.

You do NOT need to go to the dealer to get general service preformed --- I go to the dealer for warranty work ONLY… Talk to your friends who own Lexus, Toyota, etc – ask them where they go -------- there are a lot of good repair shops that specialize in Japanese Cars that do the same work for a good deal less money… Oil changes, tire rotations, air filters, etc are easily preformed by a quick-change oil store… Keep a logbook and receipts of all work done… A log adds value when you go to sell or trade your car…
