dlash
Need help........check engine light, trac off light & trac light keep coming on. Have taken to local Lexus dealer, spent $83.00 on diagnostic check and advised of code 71 which they state is EGR related. Also advised these items needed replaced (EGR valve, EGR modulator valve, EGR VSV and decarbon the connector tube from EGR valve to manifold). Everything has been addressed and lights continue to come on. I have reset system and started and idled car to normal operating temperature and allowed to run for as long as 20 minutes with no lights appearing. However, when I drive the car, particularly at 50 miles per hour or above, lights will then come on and stay on until I reset system again. Could it be something other than emissions, i.e. traction control system ?
